This petition is for residents of DFW and ALL Texas Rangers fans that do not wish to have Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (Globe Life Park) replaced. Globe Life Park is a fantastic and classic place to watch a baseball game. If you value loud crowds and classic baseball atmosphere, this petition is for you. Whatever they replace Globe Life Park with will not be loud and filled with atmosphere, it will be a silent lifeless bowl of a stadium. The only reason the owners want to build this new stadium is to line their pockets. The owners do not care about the true Rangers fan. Ticket prices will be raised and Summer's at the ballpark will become unaffordable. I understand that there is not a history of winning a world series here, but tearing down stadiums one after another for the sake of amenities is not what baseball is all about. Baseball parks are supposed to be shared with generations of familes. Continue to share the memories with your family, show the owners that you disapprove of tearing down our great ballpark in Texas and sign this petition today.
