The city is ripping down half of our beloved disc golf park to install one of two massive dog parks. There is already a large dog park in Euless, within 2 minutes from Bear Creek (called Villages of Bear Creek Park). Please help show the city that disc golfers love the park and would love to keep it in tact.
Dear City of Grapevine,
We understand that there is dog park being put in at Bear Creek that would potentially eliminate half of the disc golf course. Bear Creek is special because of the contour of the land through the creek that the dog park would not use. We are asking to try to find a way to keep our beloved course a full 18 holes as it is central in the metroplex and a very popular location for disc golfers of all ages.
With the dog park located at The Villages of Bear Creek Park (only 3 exits south of Big Bear Creek in Euless), and the other dog park to be put into McPherson Park, we feel that it is not necessary to eliminate the disc golf course. Please understand our concern for this great park, and let us know if there are any opportunities to discuss this further.
