Harford County Planning and Zoning's most recent draft of the Master Plan-Harford NEXT proposes expanding the Development Envelope in Fallston to the corner of Mountain Road and Harford Road, Chapter 2, page 28.
The Development Envelope allows for more intense zoning.
Increased and intense development in this area will further stress the infrastructure and has the potential to set a dangerous precedent for other agricultural zoned properties in Harford County.

Dear Decision Maker,
I do not support expansion of the Development Envelope in Fallston at Harford Road and Mountain Road as proposed in the Harford NEXT Master Plan draft.
The area cannot support more intense development and adding Agricultural zoned property into the Development Envelope sets a dangerous precedent for land use in all of Harford County.
Please keep Fallston rural and focus on revitilization efforts within the county's current Development Envelope.

The 2017 Harford County Comprehensive Zoning Review is underway. Harford County Department of Planning and Zoning has received a total of 98 rezoning requests. Thank you for particpating in the HarfordNEXT Land use process. We encourage you to voice your opinion about land use in Harford County by attending the public hearing on Tuesday, June 7th at 6pm in County Council Chambers, Bel Air MD. Unfortunately, this effort has resulted in a strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP) filed by a developer. The goal of the Keep Fallston Rural petition was to start a dialogue with decision makers about the HarfordNEXT master plan process and proposed development envelope expansion.
