Spotsylvania Department of Social Services (DSS) Director Gail Crooks blatantly disregarded overwhelming evidence and ignored Walter Reed Military Medical Center recommendations to place our son in a non-smoking and pet free home despite his medical condition. Furthermore, She let her staff medically kidnapped my son. In addition, due to lack of leadership, she has lost her credibility to lead the department as her personnel show no compassion or empathy towards our family and other families as well. Furthermore, she does not know what's going on when a traumatic child removal takes place, instead, she leaves that with power hungry lawyers and ruthless CPS investigators who trample on parental rights. I am concerned that families are being suppressed and continue to be suppressed by her department while she is continues to be oblivious to it. I want you to contact your local Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors member, Spotsylvania County Administrator Mark Taylor, and Virginia DSS Commissioner Duke Storen and demand for Gail Crooks' resignation because she unfit to continue and that you have lost confidence in her ability to lead the Spotsylvania DSS as the Director.
