Approve the Parole of James Robert Farley (A329712)

In May of 1995 a life was taken. There is no denying that. The details behind this tragedy is not one sided.
It involves two young adults in the prime of their life arguing for weeks. Both being violent with one another. James still has a scar on the back of his head from a axe that was used to assault him over this argument.
In the end. Tragedy struck. James ran because he got scared of what had just happened. Eventually turning himself in when he realized the extent of his actions. James deserved prison time. He doesn't deserve to "rot" in prison as I have seen others suggest. He did not get autopsy photos and brag. Those photos were released by another person to show them the report of the stab wounds. James has shown enormous remorse for his actions. He has underwent many classes to help him be a better man. This is not a random crime. He did not hurt someone just because he wanted to. He was young and let his emotions and opinions of others get to him. After 27 years he deserves to be released. No one can change the past. Im sure we wish we could all go back. I learned at a very young age that 2 wrongs don't make a right. That's not the way it works. James (my dad) has shown me God and his love for me. He has taught me forgiveness.
Proverbs 17:9 "Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends"
1 John 1:19 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
Hebrew's 8:12 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more"
I have met this guys family. As a young girl only in 6th grade I learned in lived on the same street and went to the same corner store this tragedy happened at. The parents of this guy took me to their church. They baptized me. I gave them a card from james expressing his gratitude for them. Please open your hearts and minds to this case. I have just been diagnosed with cadasil. James also has this disease. He deserved his time and he has done his time. He is not that same 20 year old kid. He has shown remorse. He deserves to be released.
