Care2 has far fewer stories on Global Development than on any other subject, yet the majority of the worlds citizens live in the developing world.
Global development encompasses everything from the 2,000 children who die every day because they don't have adequate water and sanitation facilities, to the elite of Lagos, Nairobi, Rio and other world cities. Horrific needs, such as Burkina Faso's low availability of education, and great successes, such as India irradicating Polio both come under the heading 'Global Development'
We'd also like a 'global development' heading in the c2nn.
