BAN CORAL REEF KILLING SUNSCREENS!

There are certain chemicals in sunscreen that are not only dangerous for human use but can also be detrimental to Coral Reefs. As these chemicals aren’t safe for our bodies and even just a small amount of these chemicals can cause coral to break down,lose its nutrients and die,these chemicals should be banned from use in sunscreen formulas. One of these chemicals is OXYBENZONE, which has been linked to early puberty rates in females. and lower sperm counts and even infertility in males. Another harmful chemical is OCTINOXATE and while humans usually don’t have many side effects hormone disruption is common and can be very dangerous for humans and wildlife in contact with it. RETINLY PALMITATE is another harmful chemical and has been linked to causing and speeding up of growth in malignant tumors found in the body. HOMOSALATE is a chemical that accumulates in our bodies very quickly and causes hormone disruption. The chemical OCTOCRYLENE is a fast absorbing and accumulating chemical in the body, and it’s extremly toxic to the environment. PARABEN PRESERVATIVES are also a cause for concern because they can cause allergic reactions ,hormone disruption and have been linked to developmental and reproductive toxicity.
