Save the Dolphins of Japan

Hey guys! I'm doing a school project about the dolphin slaughtering in Japan and part of the project is to get as many people I can to sign it. So, thanks so much for wanting to help end this senseless slaughter of one of the Earth's most intelligent and gentle creatures. Keep reading for some more information about the slaughtering if you aren't sure exactly what is going on.

The dolphins slaughtering is acclaimed to be a centuries old tradition in Japan where they lure innocent dolphins into the cove on the local Kujira Beach. This area is surrounded by land on all three sides, with only one opening in or out. Dolphins are lured into the cove by high pitched sounds that distort their sense of direction. Once in the cove, the best looking are picked out to be shipped off and sold to aquariums and marine parks for human entertainment. These dolphins are being fed to children in Japan, a harmful act because dolphin meat contains very high levels of mercury. 

The majority of the world is not aware this is happening. The Taiji cove is blocked off from the public. Cameras are not allowed inside and the media does not cover the story. It's critical that we get the word out in Japan.


Please help spread the word to help end this brutal slaughter. Ask all your friends and even family members to sign the petition and speak up for the dolphins. We are their only hope.
