Dog park

In our new neighborhood, the people who sold the house to us said "There is a dog park next to the playground. " So when I took my dog to the playground, I didn't see a dog park just a playground with sidewalk around it,benches, and patio. So we went back and asked "Where is the dog park? " Their answer "It is the sidewalk. " A sidewalk is now a dog park?
