Stop stealing our Native American children for personal gain.

Indian Child Welfare Agency are violating the Indian Child Welfare Act and Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act to families, & individuals-including mine. ICWA-to protect the best interest of Indian Children, to promote the stability and security of Indian tribes and families by the establishment of minimum Federal standards for the removal of Indian children and placement of such children in homes which will reflect the unique values of Indian culture. MIFPA-Native American children being removed from their families and placed in non-Native foster and adoptive homes. Why I'm concerned? ICWA & MIFPA is resulting a generation of Native people being disconnected from their cultures. ICW Depriving parents of their rights. Not following "Active Efforts" requirements. Taking people's children away as a personal gain. Abuse of authority. Violating civil rights, child's rights, parent rights. Help enforce the codes and laws by signing this petition. Let families get the justice they want to see happen- accountability on these "social workers" abusing power, violating human rights, civil rights, and child's rights! Every vote and signature matters to me because this has been a HUGE issue with tribal child protection service cases. I know I can't be the only one dealing with ICW. I want to be the voice that speaks up and out! I need accountability to happen to these "social workers". It's illegal to say your a social worker and not be licensed. Yet my tribe has conflicts of interests and children being held in the middle of it. This is no longer about child welfare. It's about political favoritism. A lot of children are suffering because cases are managed not by the law but by whether your family has influence within the tribe. Tribal officials use "confidentiality" rules as a shield.
