Girls education in Afghanistan

3.5 million kids in Afghanistan are not in school and 85% of those kids are girls. Girls can not go to school in Afghanistan because the Taliban has a ban on girls education. Only 37% of girls are literate meaning they can read or write compared to 66% of boy that are literate. Also the girls live to far away form school this defiantly effects girls because the Taliban also have a ban on girls outside without a relative that is a man with them. When and if girls are lucky enough to go to "school" they have to learn in tent that have holes in them, some girls aren't even lucky enough to have a tent. Once the girls to 7th grade they get a room but they have to clean it and take care of the room. This is a important concept because all genders deserve a fair education so that they can get a well paying job. With this petition I hope to raise awareness on girls education and help them get better school and go to school. Everyone deserve education.
