Save the helpless animals in Rynfield Bunny Park!

Nearly a year ago, the Rynfield Bunny Park in Benoni, South Africa, fell into mismanagement. There were articles, there were a few protests and then there was silence.

Now, nearly a year later, the animals in Rynfield park are dying of hunger, disease and abuse.

Not only rabbits, but donkeys and goats and sheep and pigs have been abandoned to their fate. Volunteers have been trying to keep the animals alive — finding homes for the smaller ones, feeding the ones left behind.

However, the situation is now dire and and the animals urgently need the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality to intervene! With enough support from around the world, we can can save these animals lives.

Please lend your voice to these animals' struggle for survival. Tell the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality to hire a team that can successfully take charge of the park and its dying, voiceless animals to help them regain health and to restore the much-loved city park that was — and can still be — an iconic place to visit for families and tourists alike.

To whom it may concern,

The situation at the Rynfield Bunny Park in Benoni has become unsustainable. After more than a year of being cared for by volunteers, the animals are dying. And it's on you.

We call upon you to hire a team that can successfully take charge of the park and its dying, voiceless animals, help them regain health and reinstate the much loved city park that was – and can still be – an iconic place to visit for families and tourists alike.
