Cory Lake Residents in favor of the Kolter proposal

The Cory Lakes CDD will be voting on a proposal presented 3 months ago by a large real estate devloper to build new homes in our community in the vacant lot behind the Morris Bridge gate, build a community pool for all Cory Lake residents, and build a traffic light at Cross Creek entrance, all at no cost to the community. Our alternative is to take on the debt as residents and face a $150-$350/year increase in our tax assessments, have no community pool, and no traffic light. This alternative also subjects us to maintaince, repair, and any construction costs of the vacant land. According to experts and local real estate agents the new projected $175k-$275k homes being built in the vacant lot will have no effect on our current home's property values. This proposal is a great opportunity to enhance our community's competetiveness with nearby neighorhoods, increase resident involvement, and relieve ourselves of impending foreclosure on the vacant lot and an eyesore for many residents.

By signing this petition, your name will not be shared with anyone and will remain private. This petition will only be presented to the CDD Board to show that the majority of the community is in support of this proposal.
