Petition for the preservation of Lincoln Park, Dartmouth, mA

  • by: Corrie McDermott
  • recipient: The people of New England as well as all town, county and state officials
This petition was created as part of a way to help preserve the historic and memorable land of Lincoln Park (890 State Rd, North Dartmouth, Massachusetts) in a way that is favorable to the people and importantly the environment.

Keep the PARK in Lincoln Park.
Lincoln Park in Dartmouth, MA has been an important part of our lives since it's creation in 1894. It has sat abandoned since 1987 waiting for something to be done. It was purchased by developers nearly 7 years ago and is listed for sale online. Now is the time to work together to preserve this land and make it into a place where people can enjoy it once again. While it will never be an amusement park again, it could return to its roots as a recreational park. Keeping it a simple and environmentally friendly place for Southern New Englanders.

Please join us in protecting and preserving land which has meant so much to so many of us over the last century.
