A man accused of throwing five newborn kittens into the trash has now been arrested again – this time for allegedly threatening to kill members of his own family.

Authorities say the threats referenced firearms and described violent scenarios involving the victim being shot. This escalation is deeply disturbing, and shows a need for more long-term support than simple jail time.

Sign the petition to demand mandatory mental health counseling and a lifetime ban on animal ownership if this individual is found guilty.

Thankfully, the kittens were rescued, but the man's escalation to threatening his family is deeply concerning. Animal cruelty is not an isolated issue.

Experts have long warned about the connection between animal abuse, domestic violence, and escalating threats against people. In many cases, violence against animals is an early warning sign of broader dangerous behavior.

And now, after the alleged abuse of defenseless newborn kittens, family members themselves say they fear for their safety.

Sign the petition now to urge authorities to pursue strong consequences that include mandatory counseling and a permanent ban on owning or being around animals if this individual is convicted.
