Demanding an end to the Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh Covid Vaccine Mandate

Update to this petition June 28, 2022:

In December of 2021, Allegheny County fired all unvaccinated employees.

The City of Pittsburgh Police and Firemen vaccine mandate was halted until an agreement could be made between the city and the unions. Many employees submitted their religious exemptions months ago. Now, Pittsburgh Police are receiving letters saying their employment will be terminated if they are not vaccinated by August.

At this time, I do not know what is happening with other City of Pittsburgh fireman or employees.

Only a year ago, local officials hailed these employees as heroes during the pandemic while there was no vaccine. These same local officials are now threatening the personal health and the livelihood of these once acclaimed heroes. We know and believe it is an individual's own choice to choose to get the vaccine. This vaccine mandate is not law. It is a violation of civil liberties that coerces individuals into getting vaccinated.

Sign our petition to end this discriminatory vaccine mandate! Help us stand for freedom of choice!

Original Post November 2021:

Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh recently implemented a Covid-19 vaccine mandate for all of its employees. If employees are not vaccinated, they will be terminated just days before Christmas. Employees who are affected by the mandate include corrections officers, firemen, maintenance workers, police officers, sanitation workers, and many others.
