Keeping the LAPD Cadet Program in San Pedro high school
The announcement was very sudden and parents as well as students were not given the opportunity to participate in the decision.The students are now forced to choose between the Police academy program which is extremely important to them and it has been a school where they have established relationships with the staff, teachers, and fellow students. We call out to Micheal Romero to see and understand the impact his decision had made and how it has affected the students in a negative way.

On Wednesday, February 6th at San Pedro High School's Olguin Campus a meeting will be held in the MPR at 5:00 P.M. The meeting will be in regards to San Pedro Police Academy's relocation to Banning High School. We welcome and encourage you to come advocate your concerns and positive messages in this meeting to Superintendent Michael Romero. This event has affected students, staff, family, friends, and the community. Thank you for all the continuous support, hope to see many of you on Wednesday.
