“The friend took the victim to her parents, who rushed her to Maimonides Hospital for an exam. Doctors there found signs of sexual assault and called police who started the investigation.”
Given New York City’s
long and checkered past with respect to police violence and holding law enforcement accountable when officers abuse their power, we need to make crystal clear to city authorities that hundreds of thousands of people around the world are demanding justice.
