Keep Turkey Wild

#keepturkeywild #keepturkeygreen

Please show your support for keeping Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area and the surrounding Greenspace preservered and opposing the proposed commercial development at Highway 75 and 61st Street.

Let's support the City of Tulsa in looking into ways to purchase privately held land like this in order to preserve it for the benefit of the community...Sales Tax Dollars via EcoTourism included :)

Let's please keep comments opposing the proposed commercial development in a positive manner.

Turkey Mountain is the Wrong Place for an Outlet Mall

Wrong Place

Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area and the surrounding privately owned land are part of Tulsa City Council District 2 - City Council Person Jeannie Cue is the elected official District 2.

She has been "Pro-Greenspace" in the past.   Please send her encouraging, positive, words in support of a continued "Pro-Greenspace" stance.

Jeanne Cue - Councilor District 2

You can also contact your District Councilor HERE as well as the Director of Economic Development, Clay Bird, (he negotiates with the developers before anything goes before the City Council) HERE .

We would like to show support for keeping  Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area and surrounding Greenspace, Green.

We appreciate the City of Tulsa allocating the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area for the Citizens of Tulsa to enjoy.  It is a priceless asset for our community and the quality of life we are able to enjoy in our great City.

We hope the City of Tulsa will keep the integrity of the area in tact and look for other solutions for the proposed commerical development adjacent to the City owned property that defines the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area.

We feel there are some great alternative areas for the proposed commercial development to find a home.
