One of the benefits of school prayer identified by John Adams is that it will promote good citizenship. In 1798, John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The very next year, George Washington stated, "What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ." The "religion of Jesus Christ" definitely included the practice of prayer. Prayer can make better citizens.
Another benefit identified by the Founding Fathers is that prayer in school can promote virtuous living. In 1790 Samuel Adams said, "Let divines and philosophers, statesmen and patriots, unite their endeavors to renovate the age by impressing the minds of men with the importance of educating their little boys and girls, inculcating in the minds of youth the fear and love of the Deity. . .and leading them in the study and practice of the exalted virtues of the Christian system." Prayer can promote more virtuous living.

Amendment 1 of The United States Constitution tells us that we have the right to free speech.  It also tells us that no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
     In our public schools The Pledge Of Allegiance is not used anymore because it contains the word GOD. Our children are taught Darwin's theory, but cannot pray in school.  How can we as Americans One Nation Under God not keep our values, and allow this to happen?

The Right To Have Prayer in Public Schools ,Those who do not wish to participate  can  Stand Quietly.

They say it is against their constitutional rights. What about ours? It says right in the first amendment, that there is supposed to be NO LAWS AGAINST RELIGION. (Religious rights) What about our freedom of speech? That takes that away. This is suposed to be a free country. What only to nonchristians? That don't sound free to us. We know that you are a christian, so please ask God for guidance, on this matter. We are signing this petition so you can reconsider this unfair, unconstitutional law.
