TRYING TO GET A PARDON

Hello, my name is Scott Gregorio Zuniga. I am a 33 year old single male; I have three children ages 5 and 15, my other daughter died at birth. I've been with my high school sweetheart, who's name is Michelle, for 16 years. I know what your saying; "why are they not married?", well it seems every time we save up money, something always takes our savings,  the condo we bought is to blame. Back to my story, I am a full time student at Gateway Technical in Racine, Wisconsin. I am in my second year of Civil Engineering/ Architectural design. Back in 1994 in high school I had gotten Michelle pregnant and at the time she was going to be attending P.E. (Physical Education). The doctor advised her that she needed to talk to her counselor so she can get out of that class while she was pregnant. Michelle did just that and the school counselor asked if she knew the father and Michelle said of course, she told them who I was. The school then called the police and the police came to Michelle's parents and they asked her parents to press charges against me. Her parents response was no, the reasoning was because it takes two to tango and Scott did not force her. At the time of this pregnancy I was 17 going on 18 and Michelle was 16 going on 17. We didn't hear anything until my 18th birthday, and that is when the police showed up and I was arrested and charged with (Sexual intercourse with a child 16 ), Michelle was arresteded, she was read her rights and then released the same day. She was charged for underage sex and received one year probation. Me on the other hand I was sent to jail for three days and received a huge fine of 653.00 dollars and received 18 months of probation and labeled as a "child molester". At my sentencing I was told by Judge Simanek that this charge would not show up on my record for the public to view. That was the end of it I thought, until one day I was working for a boiling company in Elgin, Ill. I was working there as apprentice for about three months. The day came where I was going to work out in the field on my own, the boss came to me and asked "are you going to be ok with this." he said this at least five to eight times. I finally asked my boss, what is going on and what are you trying to get at? His response was that he is sending me down to a elementary school and he had done a background check on me and he said" I see you have a charge of ( Child molestation), I was shocked, embarrassed my jaw hit the ground and I immediately got on the phone with Michelle and told her to fax me my court papers on this matter.  I proved to my boss that I was not a low down child molester. This is when I discovered that in fact the public could see this charge of (Sexual intercourse with a child 16 ). For the past 13 years I have been fighting this with the Racine courts, with no prevail. I told the courts at the time of my sentencing I was told this would not show up on the public eyes for the obvious reasons, it could hurt me in getting a job. When I tried to get my court records to prove to the judge what he had told me, the files could never be found. I was denied every time when I tried to get this expunged from my record. The DA ( District Attorney), said I do not deserve a expungement because of my past record. What does my past record have to do with me trying to get rid of a charge that is unnecessary and is degrading to me. I have no other charges of any sexual content. I was told flat out by the judge, he will never expunge this from my record and that my best bet was to get a pardon from the Racine governor. So this is what I'm trying to do. I am writing this blog to get people to agree with me that in this case I should get a pardon because I do not fall in the category of a child molester. So please help me and my family. What good is it to go to college and earn a degree if I will not be hired for the obvious reason. If two underage teenagers ages 16 and 17 had  consensual sex, should one or both parties be labeled as a child molester and charged with (sexual intercourse with a child 16 )? Do you think that they should be able to get a pardon from these charges? Even if they have a extensive record?

 If you agree please say yes, and if you don't then say no.
