Back in June, the almighty Trump administration made a move that will forever scar the Alantic ocean's environment, and change New York for the worse..
The administration immediately made a move to allow energy companies to use seismic air guns to patrol for oil and gas in the Atlantic. And they want to do this just off the coast of several major sea ports, the second and third largest in the nation being New York, and New Jersey.
Ultimately, it spells the end for several species of marine life, including demolition of coral reefs, and the deaths of many different types of whales.
Whales use Sonar to communicate. The noise from this heavy duty operation will lead to a lack of communication, which leads to whales beaching themselves, and will completely stop them from breeding-
-which means the insured extinction of an already endangered creature.
This will not just plausibly interrupt and starve the normal sea-based economy, but will also UNDENIABLY change the Nation forever.
We've already lost many of our economic strongholds, not only due to Trump's new immigration and deportation policies, and not only from the leeway given by the new administration to major chemical, mining, and energy companies, but also because of something else that we've known about for decades: Climate change.
The recent spike in natural disasters is due, in part and whole, to things like fracking, oil spills, carbon emissions, unethical corporate practice in the fields of energy, mining, mass manufacturing, and fishing.
