Sexual Assault on 'Bachelor in Paradise': Cancel the Show!

During the filming of 'Bachelor in Paradise', a spin-off of 'The Bachelor' franchise, one of the contestants was sexual assaulted! The assault happened in and near a pool between Corinne Olymios and DeMario Jackson. Corinne and other people who were there said Corinne was too drunk to consent and DeMario still had oral sex with her.

Sign to demand 'Bachelor in Paradise' be canceled due to allowing a sexual assault to occur.

The incident itself is horrifying. Corinne is said to be blackout drunk, remembering nothing from the incident. Onlookers said she went limp during the assault.

What's worse is that producers of the show did nothing to stop the incident. We must demand such a morally bankrupt show be canceled. We cannot allow sexual assault to be normalized, explained away or profited from in this way. This show is known for getting contestants extremely drunk and not feeding them so that crazy things will happen. But now it has gotten unsafe and criminal and that's unacceptable.

Taping of this season has been stopped, but it's not good enough. We must demand the show is canceled altogether.

A source said "There was hugging and kissing and touching, but before long, she seemed to go limp and was sliding under water. Demario kept trying to hold her up and at the same time, he appeared to be having intercourse with her. After he finished – which only lasted a few seconds – he lifted her out of the water and laid her on the cement, where he proceeded to have oral sex with her."
