Free the Elephants in Pairi Daiza Zoo Belgium

For shows and daily riding, the animal park near Brussels trains the elephants with the elephant hook, a stick with a pointed metal hook, which is rammed into the delicate skin of the trunks. Against this background, the animal rights organization calls for a ban on breeding and importing elephants in zoological facilities.
 
"Sayang elephant cow and her family are in the dust when the Hannover Zoo shuts them off to Belgium. There they will experience similar violence and be maltreated with the elephant hook for pointless events such as elephant riding ", Dr. Yvonne Würz, animal entertainment specialist at PETA.
