Ban the sale of fireworks to the general public

There is a real problem in the United Kingdom, with part time shops selling fireworks to the general public.

Bonfire night happens on November 5th, yet the sale of fireworks starts as early as the beginning of October, it is complete and utter madness to sell explosives to the public, these fireworks are bought by morons who use them to intimidate people and animals.

The general sale of fireworks, causes stress for vunerable older people, who are afraid , a firework may be posted through their letter box, Fireworks are often thrown at people and animals , at times causing very nasty burns.

Animals are terrified of the noise these fireworks make, wild life is at risk, when the spent firework lands but is still hot enough to burn a curious hedgehog, or birds.

It is time to regulate the sale of these loud dangerous fireworks, making it illegal to sell to anyone who isn't lisensed, to hold organised firework displays away from houses, people and domestic animals, choosing area's that consider the environment and wild animals.

The misuse of fireworks have started fires , putting a strain on our already over stretched emergency fire services, and police force. As well as endangering people, property, animals and wild life.

Please sign this petition to help stop the madness of selling explosives ,easing the stress for vunerable people and animals. Thankyou
