Allow Other High Speed Internet Companies To Compete With New Wave

As most of you know, there's really only one option for high speed Internet in town: New Wave. Thanks to the Non-Compete agreement that they have with larger companies, they have zero competition in this area & that allows them to install costly & inconvenient policies consequence free. For instance, they've recently added a Data Cap to every plan & will decrease the speeds you're supposed to be getting if you exceed that cap. Our consent is not required, and they're still charging the same amount for a plan that used to be unlimited. Here's the most frustrating part: I noticed I was having issues once or twice a month and every time I called them; instead of saying "Oh yes, we've started data capping and you're currently getting throttled", they sent technician after technician out to my house, wasting TONS of my time and money as I had to be away from work. As a small business owner myself, I understand why having the non-compete agreement sounds like a good idea, but my livelihood relies on them offering consistent service which they have failed at every turn, and been deceptive about the cause of my slowed speeds. I petition that we allow other High Speed Internet companies into the area so that we as consumers can stop paying the price for the success of a company so willing to deceive it's customers.
