This Sweet Dog Chased His Owner's Car After Being Abandoned and Left for Dead

Most dog owners consider their animals a beloved part of the family. Tragically, some dog owners are completely cruel to their animals instead. One such a man was caught abandoning his dog by a lake and driving away while the sweet pup chased after him

Sign on if you want this man to be caught and held accountable for his abuse!

A bystander was able to film the whole thing. The unidentified man kicked and shoved the black dog after getting him out of the car. Dogs are so loyal and trusting that this pooch was still wagging his tail and trying to play with his owner while the owner pushed him aside. Finally, the man drives away and the doggo chases behind his car while he yelled "it's your dog not mine" to the person filming him.

The person who filmed the incident tried to hold the man accountable and it almost turned into a physical fight. There is no reason to abandon a dog like this except true disdain and disregard for life. If for some reason you can no longer care for an animal, that's what shelters are for. Relinquishing a pet is a very difficult decision, but at least at a shelter, the dog will have another shot at a happy life. What this man did was cruel, unnecessary and inhumane.

Kern County Animal Services has opened an investigation into the incident, but we know all too well how animal abuse like this can easily get brushed under the rug. Will you sign on to put pressure on them to really give this case the time and attention it deserves?

The dog is being cared for at a local animal shelter where he can hopefully be adopted by a more caring and loving person.
