Pembroke Pines City Park Playgrounds Need Lights Installed

Many of our children are forced to stop playing and leave our city parks at sunset because there is no lighting available for playgrounds in Pembroke Pines. Many other cities supply lighting with the additional reason that many shady characters use these playgrounds for questionable purposes after sunset because there are no lights. It's time for us to do the same in Pembroke Pines and protect our children at playgrounds. Please sign this petition to tell our City Commissioners to install lights at our park playgrounds just like they've done already at all the soccer fields in the City Parks. We are requesting for the lights to be turned on until 9 p.m. only when the soccer field lights are turned on at the same time. Soccer fields are presently being used with lights beyond sunset even though the parks are technically supposed to be closed at sunset.
