Keep the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Huntington

In late August Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1064 received an eviction notice to be out of our location by September 30th. Our organization has been supporting Huntington and the surrounding area since 1930 and we want to stay in Huntington Where We Belong. We have found a new location but unfortunately local zoning laws are prohibiting us from moving to where we feel we can make the greatest positive impact to the community. The proposed property sits less than 25ft to close to a daycare center in District 2 of Huntington West Virginia . The current plans are to put a park, a basketball court, and a community banquet hall which would be available for rental in District Two of Huntington West Virginia.
