Envigo CRS Ltd. kills people. What is the point in keeping it open? If this is not true why have I not been sued?
The British Government's Dept. for Business,Innovation and Skills (DBIS) has facilitated the provision of banking services, via its own account at the Bank of England, to the animal-testing lab Envigo CRS Ltd., formerly Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), since July 2nd 2001. This is the lifeline. Back in 2001 no-one else wanted to provide banking services to HLS. HLS had been exposed many times for animal cruelty, breaches of Good Laboratory Practice guidelines and breaches of the law. Also, the British Government recently did something which strongly suggests that Envigo/HLS tests and passes as safe pharmaceuticals or other substances which kill people. Sign my petition to get this stopped........
In the course of contesting a Freedom of Information request brought by me about the provision of the banking services to HLS the British Government opposed a routine private background check being done on HLS. DBIS did not want the tribunals hearing the case to find out from the UK Medicines and Healthcare-products Regulatory Agency if HLS had tested and passed as safe any of the large number of pharmaceuticals that have killed people,e.g.: Propulsid, Baycol, Redux, Vioxx, Primodos/Duogynon, Yaz/Yasmin, Exjade, Lamisil, Zyban. DBIS did not want this information to be included in the tribunal's consideration of the public interest tests to determine whether the answers to my questions should be disclosed.
The British Government had the opportunity to extinguish once and for all all suspicion about HLS but did not take it. Why is that?
DBIS said:
"The Tribunal is not the appropriate forum to order the collection of a wide-ranging amount of information about HLS and other (sic) pharmaceutical companies from a wide variety of public authorities in order to have a "trial" of the Appellant's concerns over animal rights and adverse drug reactions. The Commissioner was right to (repeatedly) state that he attached "no weight" to these, as well as the Appellant's other, varied allegations against HLS and/or the Government, in deciding whether the specific withheld information should be disclosed." ......
DBIS also said:
"..........the tribunal did not have a wide remit to investigate HLS."
It seems to me that the British Government's behaviour in opposing a background check on HLS is highly suggestive of its having something to hide and highly suggestive of HLS's testing and passing as safe pharmaceuticals which kill people.I sent a letter to Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England, bringing this matter to his attention and asking him to stop providing banking services to HLS or resign. He has not replied. Please sign my petition to Mark Carney QC Governor of the Bank of England asking him to stop providing banking services to Envigo/HLS or resign.

Dear Mr Carney,
In a recent FOI case about Huntingdon Life Sciences ( now known as Envigo CRS Ltd.) the British Government opposed a routine background check being done on the drug-testing history of that company. Can you explain that? Please stop providing banking services to Envigo CRS Ltd. or resign.
Yours sincerely,
Rhonda Moorhouse
