Move Pet Foods away from Insecticides!

Why are pet foods placed on shelves next to the insecticides or hardware, cleaning products at major grocery chains and drug stores? When I search for my cat food, I have to ask where are your bug sprays since this is the same aisle i know i can find my cat food.

I am particularly targeting two major grocery chain, drugstores, dollar stores, hardware, gas stations to stock pet foods on their own shelves away from insecticides, cleaning products and hardware tools.

I feel humans have to change our mindset on how we look at animals. When grocers place pet food next to bug spray, hardware or cleaning products, we look at animals as products and intangible and not living, sentient beings that are part of our pet family that deserve our care and respect.

The perception of how we see animals leads to how we treat animals.

If we see an animal as non-sentient, we treat them like property and a throw-away.

Animal cruelty is on a all time high. The people who are cruel to animals see animals as products, and in their minds, these animals don't suffer. So its OK to mistreat them.

I am asking for your support so I can ask grocers to make better decisions on how to stock and market pet food on their shelves. I am going to suggest that they create an isle solely for pet products. I will suggest that the aisle also include marketing picture displays of humans affectionate interactions with animals.

When you sign this petition, you will be the voice for animal rights and help change the human behavior and mindsets of how they should interact with their pets and all other animals.

Thank you for caring. Please Hug your pet today.
