DEMAND AN END TO B.C. GRIZZLY BEAR TROPHY HUNT NOW, NOT TOMORROW!

  • by: Dallas E.

Again, the irresponsible Canadian British Columbia government is allowing the annual grizzly bear hunt to proceed in British Columbia, starting April 1st.  Why can't they realize that there is more to be gained with wildlife viewing and tourism of these magnificant bears than issuing hundreds of permits to greedy, cruel, violent hunters.  Why should we invite people with guns to our country to shoot our precious and rapidly dwindling wildlife?  ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!

There is clear evidence that bears are more valuable to the province and the people through tourism and wildlife viewing, which is what the people clearly want, but the B.C. government continues their deaf and dumb approach.  Please check out this recent website:

Let's send a clear message, once and for all to the blind British Columbia government that this is not acceptable to British Columbians, or the world.  Thank you for your continued support to end the reprehensible act of trophy hunting.

To Whom It May Concern:  We the undersigned passionately and vehemently oppose the annual Grizzly Bear trophy hunt in British Columbia, and demand an immediate end to this senseless display of cruelty British Columbia is presenting to the world.  We wish to see ecotourism with the bears, not violence and agonizing death with guns.  Please listen and stop the hunt now, not tomorrow!!

Update #110 years ago
Hello signers, this is the final push for this petition, as the horrendous trophy hunt for Grizzlies starts here in B.C. on April lst, just days away. Can you please help share to send an even stronger message? I will send another update when I deliver the petition by week's end. Thank you for your support. Dallas.
