Urge Starbucks to stop penalizing those who chose milk alternatives

When Starbucks did the most recent revamp of its program, it added a 70 Cent charge for any option besides cow’s milk. As you can imagine, this is reprehensible to do many of their clients. Starbucks is essentially rewarding those who opt to support the dairy industry, which is founded on the exploitation of a docile being who has never done any harm. It also ignores the fact that up to 70 percent of adults are lactose intolerant ( big surprise here, we are humans, not calves!).

It’s time to send a message, telling starbucks we refuse to be penalized for following our own ethics and opting for a non-dairy alternative. Smaller coffee shops don’t opt to add this ridiculous charge, and they likely pay more than starbucks.

Let’s let starbucks no that we will be seeking out options for coffee that don’t penalize their clients seeking to make a choice that is kinder to their health, the animals and the environment!
