Tech Companies: Refuse to Help Trump Build a Muslim Registry

Out of 9 tech companies The Intercept contacted to ask if they would help President-elect Donald Trump build a national Muslim registry, only Twitter said they would not.

There is no doubt that tech company information and services are highly valuable to authoritarian, anti-civil liberties, pro-surveillance Trump. We need tech companies to listen to their customers and RESIST.

IBM is one company moving in the wrong direction: CEO Ginni Rometty wrote a personal letter to President-elect Trump shortly after the election. She congratulated him and offered him the services of her company.

We need tech companies to be allies against fascism, not enablers!

Please sign this petition to urge Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton, SRA International, and CGI to publicly state that they will not help Trump build a Muslim registry or implement any other policies that would strip Americans of their civil liberties.
