East Albany Boys and Girls Club has been open for roughly 28+yrs, this institute has helped to establish a lot of positive impact on the neighborhood it's in, the neighborhood it serves, and the kids it serves. This is not your ordinary Boys Club; it's a second home for a lot of youth and teens, a place of comfort and a safe haven from things.
The people working at this location never treated us as if we were just another child; they treated us as if we were their child and equal. Closing this location down would put the children it serves and the community in an unconducive state.
The neighbors in this community ask that you keep this location open and help us to continue enriching our youth and bettering our community.
