We the undersigned by our signature, make the following declaration and affirmations in PETITION for FEDERAL STATUTE rendering the capture and/or holding captive marine mammals-KILLER WHALES and DOLPHINS in particular-for the primary purpose of providing entertainment, illegal within the UNITED STATES;

THAT, the degree of intelligence and emotional capacity inherent in certain marine mammals shown to exceed even that of humans renders those marine mammals PRESUMPTIVELY UNSUITABLE for captivity and maintaining such captivity is no longer an acceptable business enterprise and repugnant to the current American ethos;

THAT, consequently we adopt the premise that a civilized nation recognizes the fundamental rights of existence of all species outside ourselves inhabiting this planet;

SUMMARILY, we the undersigned state that it is ‘enough’ to merely witness a Killer Whale and/or Dolphin in the wild; it is enough to be in viewing proximity of  thinking, feeling, kinetic miracles of nature who encompass the same degree of awareness as we and by virute deserve the same basic rules of tolerable survival which coalece human life. Observing these mammals is sufficient and a priviledge.

They needn't ' trick' for us too.

For all those supporting this issue I thank you.

And to Sea World: regardless how wider, longer, or deeper the captivity, it is, has been, and will always be, a fish tank.
