Say No to National Park Fee Hikes

Besides the extraordinary natural beauty and fascinating wildlife to be found in our National Parks, do you know what's really great about places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Yellowstone?

These one-of-a-kind places belong to all of us.

But a new plan by the Trump Administration has just proposed doubling the cost to enter 17 popular National Parks. Under the new proposal, the cost to enter beloved parks like the Grand Canyon could be as high at $70 per vehicle!

This new proposal will make it even more difficult for all of us to visit and enjoy our public lands — and will especially prohibit lower-income Americans from visiting the public lands that their tax dollars help maintain.

For years, Congress has underfunded the National Park Service, creating a $1.3 billion backlog in vital repair and infrastructure projects. But regular taxpayers — and especially working families — shouldn't have to bear the burden for lawmakers' inaction.

At Care2, we think our public lands are for everyone — not just those that can afford these excessive new fees.

That's why we are standing in strong opposition to the National Park Service's outrageous fee hikes. Will you sign on?

We only have until December 22 to stop these outrageous increases, so please add your name now.
