Pass the C.R.O.W.N. Act!

Black women are 80% more likely to think they must change their natural hairstyles to fit into the office, according to the DOVE Crown Research study in 2019.

A major part of racial justice is the end of hair discrimination, as natural Black hair is innately tied to racial cultural identity. To ask Black people to remove themselves from that identity in order to fit better into predominantly white spaces and conform to European beauty standards is racism, no question about it.

Add your name to call for the passage of the C.R.O.W.N. Act!

C.R.O.W.N. stands for Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair.

Black people deserve the space to embody their full cultural identity whenever, wherever, without judgement. There is nothing about natural Black hair that is unprofessional, and the passage of C.R.O.W.N. Act will help to protect against discrimination related to protective natural hairstyles in the workplace and public schools.

Sign your name to say that Black hairstyles are absolutely professional, and that the C.R.O.W.N. Act must be passed!
