Please sign and share this petition in an effort to encourage this dog's trainer to return the dog, Major back to where he belongs, with an 11-year old girl, Alayna with Type I diabetes. The family had to raise $20,000 to get the dog and have him trained to meet Alayna's medical needs but now the trainer is refusing to return the dog back to the family.

Alayna is a lively, vibrant 11-year old girl who was diagnosed with Type 1 juvenile diabetes at the tender age of 6. Her blood sugar levels became so bad that she could not even sleep in her own bed. Her parents decided that a service dog who can detect issues and signs of diabetes was exactly what they needed for the health of their daughter. Along with the help of their community, they raised the money to purchase Major and have him trained appropriately.

Before getting their dog, they had to sign a contract that stated the dog would be removed if they abused or neglected it. If it was removed they would not receive a refund. The last thing they would do is abuse this beautiful animal who was a treasure to them and their daughter. They had already paid $12,000 by the time the contract was presented so they signed it in December of 2013. Major joined the family in March of 2014.

Although Major fit into the family, with Alayna and the entire community who helped the family to get the dog, he was not detecting low blood sugar as early as he was supposed to, so Noyes recommended they fly Major back to Colorado for additional training. Major left for training on July 5th, leaving on a plane to Colorado. As Major arrived, the family never heard from the trainer, Noyes. Instead, an attorney for the trainer contacted the Barnes family, claiming Major had been abused and neglected and that he wouldn't be coming back.

These allegations were absurd as everyone close to the Barnes family knew, and Noyes was then arrested for theft of property. However, she is now out on bond.   The family wants and needs their dog back, Alayna is pleading for the return of Major, claiming she has not been able to sleep until the dog joined the family. He went everywhere with her, even to school. They don't want money; they want Major alongside their daughter as it was meant to be.

Arkansas St. Francis County Sheriff - Please ensure this trainer Noyes is sent back to her resident state where she can face charges of stealing a much needed service dog. This is such a bizarre situation and she had no right to leave a needy child in limbo by taking her service dog and companion away from her. Punish this woman for her actions and implore those who are holding this dog to return him to his rightful owner. Please return Major to Alayna and the Barnes family!
