New York City Carpenter's Demand Accountability & Transparency!

U. S. Federal Government Independent Monitor, Glenn McGorty asked Executive Secretary Tresurer, Joe Geiger to act on Steven McInnis, President of the New York City District Council of Carpenters for an infraction of personnel policy. Mr. McInnis was removed from office. The nature of the infraction wasn't clear but the Daily News indicates that it may involve sexual harassment.

Members of the New York City District Council deserve to know "Who Knew" about these allegations and "When They Found Out" about them. If you are interested in the truth, please sign this petition to be presented to:
Hon. Victor Marrero United States District Judge, Southern District of New York, Daniel Patrick Moynihan Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, New York, NY 10007-1312

Secrecy is the linchpin of abuse of power … its enabling force. Transparency is the only real antidote.
