Due to ofsted giving the preschool an inadequate rating, it is more than likely that Milton Keynes council will stop our funding as parents! As a result of this the pre school will have to close, leaving parents and children with nowhere to attend! Many of the children who attend Phoenix are going to 'big' school this year which would mean several of them having to find a placement for half a term and having the struggle of settling into somewhere new twice in the space of weeks!!
Our children are extremely happy at the pre school and to move them will be very unsettling, not just for the children but also us as parents, due to many of us working this is going to cause huge struggles, which can be prevented if we just got our funding approved! With the preschool closing it is going to not only cause stress and children being unsettled it will also include workers loosing their jobs which is heartbreaking for anyone! As parents we feel as though ofsted have not taken our feedback on board about the setting, as we are the main carers of our children we feel as though the children are progressing in the preschool and that ofsted have not taken the children's welfare into consideration.
Please help us save the funding for our children's preschool!
