Stop Using GMOs in Baby Formula!

For parents who are unable or unwilling to breastfeed, baby formula is often the only solution. Unfortunately, the vast majority of formulas available on the American market are riddled with genetically modified organisms, or GMOs -- and the companies that make them seem unwilling to take any action to fix that.

Representatives from Nestlé USA and Mead Johnson, which manufacture a huge percentage of baby formula, have admitted outright that their products contain GMOs. Formula made by both companies contains GMO beets, corn and soy. But because the FDA has not outlawed GMOs, the companies say, they see no problem with feeding them to our babies.

The long-term effects of GMOs on our health and environment is still uncertain. But infants are already extra vulnerable to chemicals and illnesses. Do we really want to be exposing them to the potential risks that GMOs carry?

Ask Nestlé and Mead Johnson to get the GMOs out of their formula and keep our kids safe!

Nestle and Mead Johnson

First off I'd like to thank you for offering an alternative to mothers milk. Some mothers are not able or willing to breastfeed and you provide nutrients to our precious infants. With that job comes great responsibility. We as a nation are begging and pleading for you to stop the use of GMO's in our infants formula! Stop using our infants as science experiments until we are fully aware of the longterm effects of GMOs. Step up and be leaders of your industry, stop using GMO's just as you have in other countries, why do American infants deserve any different? Our childrens future is in your hands.

To the media: We must get this story out there. This is a great concern to many, dont ignore the voices of the people(signatures)

Thank you so much for your action
