Can a Federal Judge Keep His Job If He is Criminally Charged with Domestic Abuse? Yes!

Several upstanding members of the legal profession have rightfully asked that Alabama Federal Court Judge Mark Fuller resign from his position after having beaten his wife in an Atlanta, Georgia hotel room on August 9, 2014.

Fuller's wife called the Atlanta Police Department for help.  When the police officers arrived, they found Fuller inebriated and his wife terrified and physically injured. Yet, Fuller does not seem to think his actions warrant his resignation from his position as a federal judge.

How can any American expect justice from our legal system when those who sit on the bench can so blatantly break the law, and then refuse to resign?  How can women expect equal protection under the law when physical violence against women does not even warrant the mandatory resignation from those sworn to uphold the law?

Although Federal Judges are appointed for life via the United States Constitution, enough is enough!

Please click the hyperlinks below and read the following articles for more details about this case and an in-depth legal analysis about Judge Fuller's flagrant disregard for the law, and then sign this petition to have him fully prosecuted and removed from the bench.

The signatures on this petition represent individuals from over 30 states and over 35 countries who are quickly losing faith in the U.S.A.’s criminal justice system.  We strongly urge that you consider what this loss of faith means both for the United States at home and abroad.

We sincerely hope that you will use whatever means you have at your disposal to encourage Federal Judge Mark Fuller to resign and help restore a measure of faith in our justice system.
