Respect the rights of vulnerable migrant children in Cameroon

According to the UN Refugee Agency, over 1,000,000 persons are internally displaced in English speaking Cameroon. About 300,000 of them are out of school children , mostly unaccompanied and separated from their parents. These vulnerable kids need urgent support in terms of medical care, child friendly spaces, food, non food items and alternative education programs to ensure their health and sound development as prescribed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to which Cameroon is a signatory. We are concerned about the welfare of these children as members of a grassroots organization called the Refugee Welfare Association in Cameroon due to the systematic violations of the rights of these children. We want the government of Cameroon to stop these rights violations by giving more resources to her structures and grassroots organizations in the field to urgently address her obligations under International law.
