Grandparents Rights for Children in CPS Custody

This petition is to get rights for the families of children in the custody of the state. my grandchildren are currently in the custody of the state, and we are unable to see them due to my daughter not being able to pass a drug test. I dont think that this is fair to us as their family who really cares deeply about them, or to them. What have they done to deserve not being able t see their family. If you agree with me, please sign this petition.
We the undersigned believe that the rights of grandparents and familes are not taken into consideration when children are placed in the custody of the state. We firmly believe that it is in the best interest of the families in the situations, that we be able to see the children. It can be severely detremental to children when they are removed from their homes, and all their constants in their lives are suddenly taken away. At least if we as grandparents and immediate family can see the children it would give them some sense of security. At this point they are probably thinking that they have done something wrong, and that is why we no longer talk to them or see them. They need a sense of stability and love, and strangers cannot give them that.
