Public sewer to be available in Pine Acres (Erica, Lucy rd,) area in Lakewood

Hi all, It's time to have public sewer available for Erica, Lucy RD neighborhood.
These houses are old, and it's a matter of time that new house will go up. Instead of everyone separately installing and/or maintaining a septic system. We would like to have public sewer available.

Or even if you're staying with your home and dont like the septic system,  please join this petition

Included are the following streets:
RD's : Erica, Lucy, Ronald
Street's: Jeffrey, Eisenhower, Stark Marshall and McArthur
And Pine Acre Blvd

Please sign this petition, so we could represent it to the board of L.M.U.A.

To present it to the board, I will need at least 70% of the homeowners to sign this.

Also, Please email me, so I can follow up if more info is needed.

Hi all, I met with LMUA. They said, that they don't invest in installing new sewer lines, for new neighborhoods. All the new sewer lines are installed by either a developer, building a new neighborhood, or by people pooling together, to install new sewer lines. Which means, they are out!
LMUA said, that if someone invested in installing a new sewer line, they can sign with them a "Reimbursement investment agreement". That is, that they get back a portion of the expense that it took to install the new sewer line, whenever a new house/line connects to it. It's a "fair share" reimbursement agreement.
Lets say you have 10 houses on a block and they installed a sewer line for $100,000. Your reimbursement will be $10,000 for each house hooking into the line.
To know how much it would cost to build a sewer line; an engineer needs to be hired and he can start working on a quote. LMUA cannot give a quote.
Pine acres is surrounded by sewer lines from all four sides. (I saw the map of the sewer lines.) Which means, there are multiple connections points that we can hook into. So I believe, that the following are the options:
1) All the lines can be done in one time together, with multiple people investing. And sign the reimbursement agreement. Benefits
a. It will be more feasible for people who invested in houses, scattered all over.
b. And probably overall cheaper than options 2
c. CON: To bring together those able to invest in this.
2) People could install a small sections sewer line to the closest available connection of the existing sewer.
a. Benefit: You invest just what you need
b. Con: It will most likely cost more overall, if you must hire each time for each new line, a new engineer and contractor.
c. Con: If you are situated more in the center, it will cost much more
d. Con: If you have multiple houses scattered, it will cost more.
Conclusion:
I will close this petition. Except if people tell me, that they want to continue with option 1), and that I should be involved in it.
Thank you all, It's been a pleasure dealing with you.
