Stand Up for Migrant Workers

Migrant workers in Singapore are treated unfairly. They work hours over the legal limit and get paid salaries that are barely enough. Even though there are laws by the Ministry of Manpower such as maximum working hours and when their employer has to pay them, they are not well enforced. This causes many migrant workers in Singapore to work prolonged hours and sometimes not even get paid on time. Furthermore, there is no minimum wage in Singapore which allows their employers to pay them salaries that are unjustifiable. Some migrant workers earn as little as $20 for working 8 hours a day. Stand up and help fight for their rights.
