Build an accessible boat launch in Auburn for fire and rescue personnel

A recent tragedy that took place on April 24th 2018 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in Auburn, Maine has shed light on a very important issue. A 9 year old boy and his 5 year old brother fell into the Androscoggin river. The 9 year old is in the hospital and the 5 year old, as of now, has not been recovered. As I arrived to help search efforts I was speaking with an Auburn police officer whom stated that the search and rescue efforts on the river from the Auburn side were delayed drastically due to the lack of an accessible boat launch on the Riverside Drive stretch of road in Auburn.

I propose that the City of Auburn Maine introduce into the budget funding for a fully accessible boat launch on the Riverside Drive portion of road in Auburn, Maine.
