Help Christopher McEachern Come Home to His Family and Community

I, Christopher L. McEachern, born and raised in Fayetteville, NC hereby swear to the truth of the following words. On August 20, 2001, I was indicted for 1st Degree Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. On August 19, 2002, I was found guilty of the foregoing charges and received consecutive sentences. Since then, it has been 14 years and I along with so many others can say that I am a changed man of sound mind, body, soul, and spirit. I am truly a man of regret and remorse for all the wrong doings committed against any person or family affected by the ignorance of ill intent.
I ask to be forgiven and accepted within the community of my home city where my parents, fiance, siblings, children, grandchildren, and friends reside. To the city of my family roots and the place where my release will be supported with the greatest assistance. I've honestly completed the first step of recognizing my mistakes and error in judgment and correcting it by acknowledging it to myself, my family and asking the victim of the case(Ervin Floyd) to forgive me. Now I am asking the community for a second chance. Before being convicted, I was indeed a pillar of stability for my family as well as for my community. I made a change before being convicted by establishing my own business. I have many talents and a keen sense of business. I just need the opportunity to show those who don't know that I can make a big difference in my community. I can do this especially in the area of youth counseling and mentorship where my past experience will be a reflection of the successes of our future generations. So I pray and humbly beseech of you that you all will give me a second chance. So for all who are willing to accept me back with the community as a member of society, I thank you and please know that I vow to be a productive member of our community.

"All things are possible to him that believe." Mark 9:23
