NEW THEY MOVED IT WHEN IT WAS COVERED IN POPPIES STILL WITHOUT THE COUNCIL KNOWING AS A VETERAN I FIND THAT SAD IT SHOULD COME BACK.
it is going to be suggested that the parish council pay to repatriate the site where the boat is at present with the council tax you pay to the parish council, I do not agree with this and am getting a petition together to object to this happening please sign it because this money is meant for amenities,kids and to improve the lives of the people of Whitchurch not to be wasted making what was a wasted scruffy area into a wasted scruffy area again, you can bet it will be looked after for a month or two then forgotten about again, where as the boat has kept that area looked after and tidy and they are going to remove it lets fight for the money to be spent as it was meant to be TO MAKE WHITCHURCH A BETTER PRETTIER VILLAGE THAT CARES ABOUT ITS RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES

IT HAS JUST BEEN MADE CLEAR TO ME THAT THE BOAT WAS REMOVED SNEAKILY WITHOUT THE COUNCILS PERMISSION STILL COVERED IN POPPIES PLEASE SHARE THIS TO SAY THAT IS DEFINATELY NOT OK, I AM A VETERAN AND I FIND IT VERY SAD THAT PEOPLE PAID THIS LOVELY TRIBUTE TO OUR TROOPS ONLY FOR IT TO BE TAKEN AWAY BY SOMEBODY WITHOUT TELLING THESE LOVELY PEOPLE THAT THERE TRIBUTE TO OUR TROOPS PAST AND PRESENT THEY WERE GOING TO REMOVE IT, AND KNOW WE FIND THAT THE LAND MAY NOT BE OWNED BY THEM AND THEY PINCHED IT

thank you for signing my petition, if you could share the petition with friends it will help to stop the council make a bad decision, as they have no proof of the people that like the boat, there are only 3 or 4 people who object to it and they are getting it removed, to really rub it in they are getting the council to pay for returning the area to the way it was before the boat which is just silly, I want to stop the council releasing funds to put it back to the way it was with support I will.
